Cobalt Carbon Free

Last year we had external wall insulation on the three exposed sides of our semi-detached. We had three aims, reduce our energy bills; make the house warmer and reduce carbon footprint. Weve achieved all three. We've had a 40% reduction in gas use over the winter, the house is more comfortable to live in and by reducing our gas use our carbon footprint is reduced. Win Win Win I want to congratulate the team providing a great service. Chris and Ellie with professional project management. It was a pleasant surprise to initially be visited by the MD Mike to discuss the project. In particular I want to thank the construction team. Very hard working, good natured and polite. Cobalt completed work on our house in the summer which included full exterior wall insulation, ground floor extention to kitchen, inc new utilty room and downstairs toilet. Upgraded existing shower room, general overhaul of roof and chimneys. We are so very pleased with everything they have done . We initially had a meeting with Mike who spent time understanding our objectives, plans and concerns re the very old rendering in place. Chris was excellent in keeping us informed and managing the project and nothing was too much trouble. He clearly takes great pride in his work with his attention to detail. All of the workers we had on site were polite, friendly, respectful and good workers and again nothing was too much trouble. As with any project on a 100 year old house problems arose but Chris and the team were always able to resolve professionally and efficiently providing workable solution's. We are so very pleased with the end result and would have no hesitation in recommending Cobalt

Exterior wall insulation on my property was undertaken and completed by Cobalt to a very high standard. The team worked extremely effectively and worked to schedule. Communications were excellent throughout, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended

I wanted to completely clad my house in External Wall Insulation - to make it warmer and reduce my carbon footprint. It was not easy to find anyone experienced in this work, but I can highly recommend Cobalt Carbon Free. They approached the job properly, advising what would be "best practice" and then accommodating to my budget and tolerance for disruption. They were willing to fit in with my timing. They arranged all the "extras" like planning permission, building regulations and moving drainpipes. They were pleasant and helpful to have around. They did all sorts of additional work while they were on site (for an extra fee). The effect on my energy bills will not show up until the winter but at this stage I would suggest anyone wanting similar work should get a quote from Cobalt Carbon Free Service: Drywall installation

Cobalt built a roof extension for us a few years back. The roof extension which they did was fine, but during the work they caused damage on two occasions to the ceiling of the room below. This caused problems, and eventually they had to cut out a section of the ceiling because it was badly damaged by water from above. See photo. Initially they accepted responsibility for the damage, then they asked us to pay 1000 towards repairing it, saying that the damage was not covered by the warranty. We refused. Cannot recommend. ASK ABOUT THE WARRANTY. They offer a warranty which is worthless, because it is not independent. Services: Drywall installation, Tile work installation, Plumbing fixture installation, Remodeling
