Cleaned often, food is a bit hit and miss, some.... Questionably behaved children here.

Very nice place. About 15 min away from Derby and with free parking. Four trampolines, super fast slide, and loads of sitting places. Clean and tidy.

I really like the layout at Dinky Dinos, its nice and spacious with a large walkway between the soft play and dining chairs and tables. The baby area is nice and clean as are the toilets and baby change facility. The food was nice, really decent sized portion and I enjoyed my coffee too. The only thing I found disappointing was staff attitude towards us. Firstly, when I ordered food the lady serving was slightly rude and unwelcoming and then we were told off like school kids later on. It cost just over 5 for a 12 month old to enter, we bought 2 coffees and 2 sausage cobs costing over 11 in total. While we ate, I gave my baby a baby wafer snack from my bag and we were promptly told to put baby snacks away as we could only consume food purchased on the premises. Whilst I completely agree on this policy for adults and older children who can eat the snacks they have for sale, I felt this was quite a harsh rule to impose on a 12 month old who Id prefer to not eat the standard crisps, biscuits and cakes containing higher levels of sugar and salt yet. Yes, they do sell baby food pouches which is great for a meal but our baby just needed a quick snack. Maybe relax this rule for children under 18 months or stock some baby friendly snacks to sell without over inflating the price too much. Myself and the group of mums I was with all felt shocked that we were not allowed to feed our babies their own baby food. Weaning is a tricky process at times and this is the first time I have ever been told to stop feeding my baby their own food.
