        The Strathdon is no longer functioning as a hotel. Following a fire in 2021, it immediately closed and never reopened. It currently stands empty awaiting a decision about the future of the building, the general consensus at the present time is that it will cease to be a hotel. Sorry about awarding one star, it was necessary in order to pass on this information.

        Massively unimpressed. This hotel was booked for a concert at Nottingham Rock City 18/10/2020. The concert was cancelled due to Covid 19. I cancelled the room 6 weeks in advance as this would count as unnecessary travel and I had absolutely no reason to be in Nottingham. The cancellation fee was exactly the same price as the room would have been if we could have attended. Give this place a wide berth . Poor.
