Update from my last review 10 months ago....wow! Iam a very happy man with my transformation going well so far & I'm very happy to share my 'before' & 'after' on going transition photos. After only 10 months of nebido testosterone treatment I feel more energetic even though I have a walking disability, my mental health has massively improved, iam doing more things in my life that I would never do before & my confidence has boosted!. Also I am extremely happy with my masculine changes & my deep broken masculine voice I would like to thank the Nottingham clinic team for continuing to monitor me & look massively forward to my upcoming surgeries...My final say is pursue your happiness & keep it real, there's nothing worse than been someone your not & never was, as I discovered as a child been born in the absolute 'wrong' body. Iam 57 years old & still smashing it, age is just a number, its never too late to pursue your happiness. My journey to been the man I should have been now begins.....

why is this service so underfunded, my trans daughter has been waiting 3 year so far. Can not leave the house for fears and no one understanding. We are in Birmingham why and how will we even get to Nottingham. Hoping she will get seen by the end of 2024 until then she remains hiding in the safety of her home.

The actual clinicians are realy nice and helpful, but most of the time you are completely unable to see or contact them as the phone lines are always busy and nobody ever picks up the phone. Reception/admin forget to send letters, do not send emails or appointments out to patients. Currently on hold for half an hour as I am supposed to be having an online appointment today with the endochrine nurse but they have not sent me an invite to join the call. One of the letters I have been sent states it was typed on 5th September but not printed and sent to me until 1st November. Unacceptable service from administration team, especially for a service that is already so hard for people to access.

Was referred here 5 years ago and not had any apparent or contact. I called and was told the referral team would contact me and was never contacted

The people there are really nice, but actually getting any contact from them to begin with, is almost impossible. Currently have sent roughly 20 emails in a month, just simply asking what I should be doing, to no response at all. Just left in the dark
