Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Hospital Campus -Clinical Haematology

I have had my 1st bone marrow biopsy today at city hospital nottingham haematology. The Doctor who completed my procedure was fantastic, he put me at ease from the very start, was very kind & calming & extremely professional. I had been very anxious but can honestly say it was painless & I was absolutely fine.Many thanks to all the staff for being so lovely.Gail

Clinical haematology clinic Staff are very kind and do their job well but why oh why book so many appointments at the same time? The waiting around for 2 hours before being seen is not good especially during this pandemic. Last week we waited 5 hours! All because someone forgot to do my husband fluids then he had to sit again to wait for marrow biopsy. Come on get your act together! Car parking is not great especially for patients who have clinic appointments carparks are at full capacity before 9:30 am! Even if you have parking permit you are told to park on streets away from hospital which isn't good when you're a cancer patient and can't walk far and have travelled an hour to get there in first place!

Despite all the treatments Ive had over the past 4 years I always look forward to a visit to clinic, the staff are truly amazing and put me at ease. It has been a challenging time and I couldnt of got through it without their help and support.

Superb service from Dr Errico and all of the staff. Sometimes, there is a short wait, but the team always do their best for everyone at the clinic.

Many thanks to Anne-Marie and Ali, for my excellent treatment having bone marrow biopsy Tuesday 27 March. Assuming all goes well, will not have to see you again.!!
