The pre surgery feelings of anxiety and stress crept in many weeks before the Hairtransplant first off Jake and Matthew reassured me in what to expect out of the procedure seeing as though both have experienced HTs with the Surgery.Matthew pre surgery supplied me with months worth of Finasteride & a Hotel to stay in free of charge this was a fantastic gesture as usually this is cost effective.The procedure started at 10:00-10:30 my nerves were already a shot but the team of Amanda,Mihai,Phil & Dr Ahmad Moussa helped me keep my mind of things with food and drinks and social interaction.The local anaesthetic needles do hurt but the short term pain will hopefully be worth the long term gain once numb it was playing sailing from there I was even given full access to watch Netflix during the implanting which was fun.Wrapped up for 18:00 I was giving a lift home by Matthew which he really didnt have to do! this isnt a review thats paid for nor created by a fake account, Its Day 15 post op and I am one happy patient and thats all down to the fantastic treatment and teamwork of Surgery Group UK clinic.

I initially contacted Surgery Group via email and was contacted by Matthew in no time at all, with him kindly taking time to discuss things over the phone and provide answers to any questions I had. This was followed by a phone consultation with Dr Moussa, who really impressed me and made me feel confident I was talking to the right guys to undergo what was a massive thing for me. I booked the procedure without hesitation. Im now day 16 following my FUE procedure conducted by Dr Moussa and his great team of technicians in Nottingham - I cannot fault the service I received on the day and the way I was looked after by all involved. Dr Moussa was fantastic and worked with me to create my new (vastly improved) hairline until we were both happy with the design. The procedure itself was pretty much pain free, with extractions and implantations carried out by the experienced technicians, with Dr Moussa performing the incisions for the grafts in-between. Time flew by and before I knew it I was ready to leave. I chose to stay in the local Novotel hotel the night before my treatment (booked and paid for by Matthew) and drove home after the main event as I felt absolutely fine to do so. Aftercare was provided by Jake (who I met at the end of my procedure), who was in contact daily during the all important first few days and was available to answer any queries I had quickly and clearly. It was great knowing you were speaking to someone who had gone through the procedure themselves. Now I await the inevitable shed of the newly implanted hairs but look forward to what will be life changing growth a few months from now. I highly recommend Surgery Group and wouldnt hesitate to use them again in the future should I require a second procedure. *****Update***** Its now been a year since my procedure and I am over the moon with the result! I actually have a fringe! I feel so much more confident in myself and dont care about the things that used to bother me like going out in the wind or getting my hair wet while swimming. I no longer have to worry about trying hide my hair loss! If youre on the fence and not sure about going ahead I can only speak positively from my experience and recommend you go for it with Surgery Group - they are great and it is life changing!

I had a hair transplant at the crown of my head with Surgery Group at end of August 2022 .. six and half months ago. The hair started to regrow from around November onwards and has continued to do so since. I have had my hair lightly cut 3 times, once in January, then in February and last week at beginning of March. My barber confirms the hair growth at the crown is as strong as it is elsewhere on my head. The crown back in August was completely bald and shiny, which I hated, Now there is proper hair growth there which grows well and needs a regular light trim. My grown up kids check it out and say Result Dad when they see and feel it. I would like it to get a little thicker still at the back so will see what happens over the next 3 months. Generally am well pleased. Thank you Surgery Group.

UPDATE: 9mo post op: Best decision I've ever made, result is better than I imagined it would be - even after this short amount of time. The hairline looks so natural and most people are not even aware that I've had it done, exactly how I wanted it. Massive thank you again to Dr Ahmad and his team for the genuinely life-changing treatment. If you're thinking about getting an FUE in the UK, then I can't recommend Dr Ahmad and the guys at The Surgery Group enough. The whole experience was great from start to finish. I was able to speak directly to Dr Ahmad from the first consultation and on the day, the technicians were all super friendly. Throughout, Matt and Jake have been incredible - looking after me and responding to my questions, amazing service. I cant wait to see what my results look like in good time.
