Attended Swing Into Shape which is every Thursday in the main hall. The community centre has a variety of fitness clubs here. The local preschool runs from the small hall Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm and 8am to 3.10pm on Fridays term time only, they take children from 2 years old. The parish Council conducts its meeting here too. Project C dance for children Tuesdays and Thursdays depending on your childs age. This is definitely a busy venue with a lot going on

Have been going to Colwick Community Centre for 10years+. It's a wonderful venue, great atmosphere and excellent housekeeping. I go to Mel's yoga on a Monday night and thoroughly enjoy the mindfulness relaxation, strength/flexibility and stretch exercises. Mel is a lovely friendly experienced yoga instructor who makes everyone feel welcome, as she helps and guides us through the asanas (movements). Whether you are at beginner or intermediate level I would definitely recommend the session, particularly for anyone suffering from stress. Go along, try it, and benefit from the asanas and mindfulness.
