I thought I would share my personal experience and opinion of this company, having used their services for a recent EV charger installation. I purchased an Easee One 7.4kW socketed standard installation on their website on the 01/09/22 following discussions with one of the sales representatives They confirmed on the phone that this charger was in stock and there would be no issue with carrying out the standard installation on the planned date of Friday 09/09/22. I assumed that because I had made full payment, stock would be allocated to me, and everything would go as planned it all sounded promising! On the day the installation was due to take place, it got to 10am and there was no sign of an electrician. I called their head office to be told someone would call me back with an update. At 10:30am, I was told they did not have stock of the unit and were unable to attend site to complete the installation frustrating, as if they would have called me the previous day with this update, I could have rearranged my schedule and worked instead of having to take leave and not wasted most of the morning sat around! I was told the charger would not be in stock until the following week, which was not acceptable as I was having an EV delivered prior to this date. I asked for a full refund, to which I was refused by the Director, due to company policy and that it would be approx. 1 week before they could process the refund How strange!? At this point I was very bemused with their level of customer service! Fast forward to Sunday afternoon and I received a text message from the saleswoman, to say they could fit the charger first thing Monday morning excellent! However, it was my birthday and I had to re-arrange my plans. No massive issue, however, they still did not arrive until late morning, when I was told they would aim to be on-site at 9am! The electrician was very helpful, and I initially thought he did a good job, despite me only recently noticing he had not sealed the hole on the brickwork and the securing of the cable over the external gas pipework does not look very pleasing to the eye! The following week I received an invoice for additional cable that was not included within their Standard Installation, which had not been used, nor was I consulted about this by the electrician I challenged the invoice and offered video evidence of the measured quantity, but they did not take me up on the offer! The subsequent email from their director threatened me with court proceedings and called me a complete idiot my friend You can at least see the level of customer service has been consistent throughout the process! Final thoughts are that I will not be using this business again, including any warranty issues I may have in the future. It may be a coincidence, but on the evening of the installation, my alarm failed, and my local electrician determined the root cause to be a faulty PCB the alarm RCD is adjacent to the new one installed for the EV charger! I cannot categorically say they have caused this fault, but it is annoying non the less!
