Flying High Expressive Arts CIC

My 2 sons (now nearly 11 and 14) have been going to Flying High for Coming up for 7 years, and they love it! They have great fun, they develop great skills and confidence, and they explore interesting themes that get them to think and develop a greater understanding of themselves and others. It also has a very welcoming and inclusive ethos and atmosphere. Thanks to all the team there!

Our 14 year old has loved his time doing both Monday night Drama and now the Wednesday Lamda sessions, such a great way for young people to boost social skills and confidence , all under the loving wing of Carrie and her team

My daughter has been attending for 7 years. Flying High was recommended by the Theatre Royal following on from an audition for the RSC. We have enjoyed biannual performances in dance, musical theatre and acting. My daughter is currently studying for Lamda grade 8 and helps the younger members in the junior drama group. Flying High has helped her find her voice and helped to grow her confidence.

My daughter has been attending for many years now and loves both the youth group and Lamda. The staff are great and are very supportive of the children and offer them opportunities to be creative and gain many skills. I would highly recommend Flying high to other parents.

Flying High is a wonderful company that I have been part of for 12 years! I first joined when I was just 6 years old and now Im in my last year at age 18. Flying High has provided me with the knowledge and skills that I can apply everywhere in life, including University applications and job interviews. My confidence has grown immensely since joining the company and I can seriously thank Carrie and the other tutors around me for helping me through this journey. The familial atmosphere of Flying High is incredible and I am so proud to be apart of the group. I have made friends for life!! Even when I took a short break to focus on my college work, upon rejoining the group, I was welcomed with open arms and excitement. I cannot recommend Flying High enough! Throughout my years at Flying High I have taken part in competitions as well as showcases where we get to showcase {surprise} our talents and what we have been working on over the course of the terms. I am now currently in Young Company, another group in Flying High open to young people aged 15+ and have performed twice at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with a 4* review in 2021!! It is safe to say Flying High has absolutely been an incredible experience for me and I am so proud to be apart of the team. The company has aided me through a lot of challenges and I now have the skills I will need to take with me to University this year. Thank you so much to Flying High and I definitely recommend to ANYBODY looking for a new, friendly and exciting opportunity!!
