Terrible surgery on the phone for hours waiting to get through, then being cut off and having to call again to be at the end of the queue again.

It's still de same...... And again this morning. They need to employ another receptionist or two. Overloaded surgery. Always a long queue and long wait on the phone to book an appointment. Is the receptionist dealing with calls quickly??

Since being transferred to this practice after our GP practice was shut down, I have experienced various issues, from a lack of staff involvement when being verbally assaulted by another patient whilst in the surgery reception to the almost impossible task of getting an appointment and continously being directed to alternative services when needing treatment for my daughter. Which then led to us waiting in the car park of a drop in centre for 6 hours just to get antibiotics whilst she nursing an ear infection serious enough they were concerned it had turned into cellulitis. Whilst I appreciate that there was a pandemic 2 years ago, it can't be continously used as an excuse for the lack of availability of appointments or the crazily long telephone queues we face to get treatment.

Sure, the wait times to get through are ridiculous. But show me a drs surgery that isn't like that these days. At least you get a queue number so you have some idea of how long you'll be. (I think the recorded message at the start of the call could probably be a bit condensed though. Feels like you're listening to it for ages) Had a phone appt for an asthma review with a very friendly nurse today. Better than any asthma review I've had at previous surgeries. Overall I'm very happy I got moved here from my previous (awful) surgery!
