I work in the front line of the NHS. It is not an easy job and Im confident when I say a huge bulk of our work is out of good will. So my expectations on GP surgeries in general is I would say, a realistic one (low), despite knowing there are real hardworking and genuine people behind those reception desks and closed doors. Long queues, appointments that is impossible to get, miscommunication etc. Often than not, Its a systemic problem rather than individuals. Despite the above, I was very dubious about this GP surgery when I saw the review. But due to the catchment area, I had no choice but to register. Months after receiving confirmation on registration(via email and text msgs), I had to book an appointment. After 30 mins queuing on the phone, I found out that they dont have me in their system. Again, nothing of this sort is news to me. But what really impressed me was the way receptionist at the time dealt with the problem. Very professional, non-dismissive with a can-do attitude (sorry didnt get her name. But she was ?blonde, has a ponytail with glasses, average size)This was rectified straight away and she made sure that I could still speak to a GP (Dr Quinston at the time) the same day. Dr Quinston was great! My health was addressed and problem at the time was eventually resolved. So I gave 4/5 only because they lost my registration the first time. Otherwise, I wouldve given them full mark, acknowledging their hard work in a sinking system.

Disgusting service my 80 year old dad tried to get a doctors appointment and was told they had no doctors he has since been with the JRB Heath care Beechdale Road who are amazing!

Moved to this doctor surgery last year and everytime I call the reception team are always polite and understand they have two times a day you can call for the same appointment and if you can't call you are more than welcome to go to the doctor surgery at the times above and book in this way also you can wait there and will inform you if some has cancled there appointment and they will do there best to get you seen everyone is really nice and doctors are vert informative
