I came to this guy originally due to an issue with my upper right tooth. He then suggested to clean it up and have a crown put on as it was damaged. He applied an injection which was incredibly painful (10+) on the scale! I literally swore while laying there! He cleaned it up and added a temp filling I carnt explain it.
On return to get the crown fitted he started trying to remove the temp filling with no numbing resulting in severe pain again.
He then fitted the crown which felt like a bodge job. He shown it me in the mirror on which it looked like a rectangle, he didn't even try to blend it in with the others and was just going to let me go looking bad.
I then returned due to a pain in my upper left tooth. I suspect this was damaged by the work on the upper right tooth he just did! - He took an X Ray and gave me some anti-biotic and said book an hour long appointment with reception to get it sorted. I booked an appointment which was 2 weeks later. 1 week after the antibiotics subscription ended. I was still in pain the entire 2 weeks. I now had an issue which felt like my upper gums was full of liquid and it hurt to touch! I phoned the dentist and was assured it was "normal" the anti-biotic would kick in soon.
The 1 hour appointment comes round. I went in and nothing... literally. He said "right were going to make you a dental plan" - it consisted of clean it up/filling or possible root canal.
He couldn't do the work at the Bulwell practice and insisted I went to his other practice in Nottingham. "Bulwell Dental Practice" and "Forest Road East Dental Practice" both ran by the same dentist. I booked yet another appointment 2 weeks later. I asked if there is any parking, he said yes.
I arrived to find the parking was for permit holders only. I have limited knowledge on the area. Im still in pain with my upper left tooth and now Im annoyed as its been 4 weeks since the problem started.
I parked the car where I could temporary and went to the dentist annoyed. He asked if I was OK which I expressed my honest opinion, no, I was now annoyed and in pain. I said I couldn't leave my car where it is due to a parking ticket. It got a bit heated to then a customer waiting suggested another location further away. I went to leave to find a parking spot as another customer came through the door.
My appointment is now due, Im supposed to be having this tooth sorted but nope. I couldn't find a parking spot. I returned to the dentist and said "Look, Im gonna have to cancel my appointment, Im in pain and can not finding parking space, he didn't even seem to care and just said OK by this point I was so angry and in pain I even said id leave a bad review on Google". Im in pain and had to find a parking spot. Eventually I find one and return back to the dentist. He was now seeing the customer that came through the door 15 minutes earlier which was not a problem.
The dentist tried to ague with me and I explained I would wait and let the customer go first and would take his appointment. I waited and 1 hour later, he shouted me in and said he would take a quick look but wouldn't be able to do anything and wanted to book yet another appointment.
I explained the customer had taken my spot, I'll simply take his, no harm done? He starting getting aggressive saying things like "Your not coming in my place talking to me in front of my customer like that" - referring to the disagreements we had earlier.
He then decided to start raising his voice and becoming aggressive. So I raised mine and explained he had been messing me around for 4 weeks and that I still in pain. He then decided "Im not happy seeing you here any more". I then left. Angry, in pain and disappointed. This guy had been prating me around for weeks.
Due to the pain, I was desperate so went to find another dentist locally the same day. I've had work done without issues. They are also removing the crown.
