        All of my experiences with EBC have been great. I've been for a number of different issues. All been resolved pretty quick. Staff are polite and helpful

        I have known my council since I was born, it used to be just in long Eaton, but for some unknown reason it was suddenly moved to Ilkeston town, that was when I was a baby it is a sad day when all of the council we have known ends up in another town, sadly our registrar office went with it, now we hardly have anything left at all. People who have to live here and recentlyhave have come to live here have no idea that the registrar's office was once situated in our town but it seems that our town is not worthy to hold such an office. I like the council we have but I think they could do more. We have the space I'm sure with the hall, and the new part by the side, so why can't this happen, and why can't Erewash join up with Derbyshire County Council we may get more things done. You see I'm an elderly person and I have felt like saying this for a long time we have to councils anyway, we have Erewash borough council,and of course Derbyshire County Council have to very good councils so why on earth do they not make it one so we get more services, and more jobs for those who need them esp if we are surpposed to be making our town a better place to live and of course work. .
