As Im looking I can see a awkward staff member hovering around us, whilst we are clearly grabbing these items, next thing he comes up close to my sons face and loudly blurts please can you make way to the till, were closed now
Firstly it was abrupt, secondly it was borderline rude and intrusive, getting up in his face like that!
My son was startled and left the sandwich he was going to buy and the staff member whisked the trolley away as if we were taking his groceries off him!
(tall large built & glasses, brown hair- 16/04/23)
Whether the staff get the reduced items Im not sure but it was seriously awkward and impolite. Not what we expected from M&S!
