Insurance company used this company when my shower tray cracked and was leaking water. They came out to look at the bathroom they said it would be a 1/ 2 day job but they need to match my tiles which were from B&q, no big deal I thought. It was weeks after that I had to get In touch with them to find out when they were coming back. Then I was told to pick a shower tray I wanted which I did . The shower tray was a little bit bigger than the one I had before, but it made no difference when it was being fitted. I know this as I work in building maintenance . They added a extra cost of 180 pounds. Weeks went by I had to ring them again and was told they were waiting on the tray but they sent a chap out to rip the old one out. Weeks went by again then came and fitted the new tray, a couple of days after a tiler came but it wasn't finished the screen needed putting back and Triming up before it was finished. weeks went by again I had to phone again . They came and finished. I am now left with cracked and chiped tiles which they have filled with grout and left.i hadn't heard anything from this company for a 11 months then out of the blue I got sent a letter for the balance of the 180 pounds then 2 days later a court letter I complained when they finished the shower tray but it fell on deaf ears and seems like they waited 11 months to invoice me so they didn't have to come and repair what they had messed up. Stay away from this company !!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Crown Home Assist were appointed by our insurance company to fit a new bathroom suite following some damage. The work was originally quoted as approximately 3-4 days but took 7 weeks to complete. The operative from Crown drilled the bath tap holes in the wrong place and after two weeks returned to 'adjust' a mixer tap that was nearly two inches off centre. Over a week later a new bath was ordered but when it was fitted in a hurry the pipes were left loose and a joint burst open causing a flood that damaged our kitchen ceiling. Luckily my wife finished work early and was able to turn off the mains water. At this point I refused to allow the original operative back into our home and a second operative spent nearly five hours correcting the mistakes made by the first. After the forth week I insisted on communicating by email with one of the companies directors, Richard Fretwell. This was to keep a record of all discussions. Throughout the seven weeks Richard refused to even acknowledge the poor quality work completed by his operative, the amount of time and inconvenience we lived through and worst of all he offered absolutely no apology, even when our kitchen was flooded. I have worked in construction for over 30 years and recognise that mistakes can happen, but the complete lack of respect for our home and recognition of just how upsetting the seven weeks were for us was extremely disappointing. I would under no circumstances recommend using this company for any work in your home and actually preferred to carry out the repairs in my kitchen personally at my own cost. It wasn't possible to give no stars but I absolutely would have.
