After setting up my limited Company in Jan 2020 (great timing), I was conscious of getting my terms and conditions accurately set up to protect my business. Heather was great to work with, explaining what she was doing and why in an easy to understand way. She definitely added value to the process. From working in the City for years I knew how important it was to have robust, fair and enforceable contracts in place to cover me for the different types of photographic assignments I undertake. Heather did a great job of reviewing the suite of contracts I was already working with, and made sensible, commercially-minded adjustments and additions to them to help mitigate the risk inherent in the work I do. Heather did this in timely and well-communicated manner throughout. Following this review, I now have additional confidence in the contracts I have, both when discussing terms with my clients and, should the need to arise, to enforce them. I met Heather through the UKAWP and had listened to her Facebook lives during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. I knew that I needed to have my Terms of Business reviewed to ensure that they covered all that may be required. She is a legal professional who understands the wedding industry which I really thought was important. I loved her manner, so friendly, direct and approachable.
