        Poor customer service. I went in to enquire switching to a different current account but wanted to talk to an actual human regarding the best options for me (i was also happy to book an appointment) - the lady was very rude about it. I hate how Halifax have removed the human side of banking.

        The cashiers were really helpful the branch is a bit bare and difficult to find space in the location is pretty central. My query was not dully resolved but at least the staff did their best at the time to get through. Mind the times when you go as it gets quite busy during the afternoon.

        Queues are always horrendous - When I spoke to the cashier, I asked if I could change my Euros back to GBP and he instantly replied "no sorry, you can try one of the other banks, we don't exchange currency back to GBP". Then I replied but I ordered the Euros from Halifax in the first place? He then said "oh if that's the case, I can change it". Why didn't he ask me that in the first place? Service was slow, unprofessional and everything but "a people thing" which is Halifax's slogan.
