A cheque paid into my account (over the counter, since, as usual, the automatic machine wasn't working) has never appeared on the statement. There is no local phone number anywhere for the Ripley branch, the online so-called "chat" has a "system fault" and the central phone number puts me through a long list of recorded answers which only confirm that the banking hasn't appeared ! And will not let me speak to a real person 1 Still, as the Ripley branch is closing, I was intending to move my accounts and savings to somewhere else anyway.

I am autistic and so sometimes have difficulty with communication. I have found the staff at Ripley very accommodating and understanding of me and my condition, and they went out of their way to help me with my quirks and difficulties.
