Hiring from Adrian made for the most comfortable family holiday driving we've had. 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog crated in the boot take up a lot of space and in the past we've had bits and pieces packed around the kids and in the footwells when the boot is full. Not so with a roof box. All the kit was Thule and had plenty of capacity for all the stuff we would usually cram into the car, so the cabin was totally clear for a change. Fitting was done at Adrian's location just off the ring road, which was easy to get to, and it didn't take long at all. He was flexible with times for installation and removal and took good care when fitting and removing the bars. Everything was well explained and you get a little card stating your adjusted ride height which is very handy when you're approaching car parks with a height barrier. Driving an EV, I was pleasantly surprised to see minimal impact on the mi/KW figures. I was still getting 3.4-3.8 most of the time and 4+ on some journeys, which was better than I was expecting. You do get a bit of whistling from the bars, which in a quiet car is noticeable, but it was certainly not unpleasant. For the convenience of having a roof box without having to store one, and the benefits we saw from hiring one, i would definitely recommend Adrian's service and will very likely be a repeat customer when we go away again later this year.

Family and I booked a spontaneous holiday we ordered the box Thursday evening 7pm for it to be fitted Friday the next day. I got a phone call 8pm to confirm the order was definitely for tomorrow and arranged a time best for us. He ensured I would have enough time to pack and load the car. Professional and friendly I couldnt recommend enough. We used the XL box and was able to pack Pushchair including carry cot!, 3 very full gym bags, baby floor bouncer, bag for life full of food and drinks and another full of toys and a potty. When the box was collected I was also given a discount code ready for next time. Will definitely use again Thank you again for making our time away even possible.

We were looking into buying a roof bar & box for the additional luggage an 18-month-old requires and came across roofbox2u, which allows you to rent one. (much cheaper than buying one) Initially, I was a little sceptical, but the good Google reviews encouraged me to place an order. Once I placed the order, I received an email saying they would be in contact closer to our booked date. A week before our booking, Adrian called me to arrange a convenient time to fit the roof bars and box. Due to our availability, we arranged for the day before (at no extra charge). The fitting location is in Lenton, very close to Showcase cinema so very easy to get to. Adrian fitted the bars and box to my car very professionally and gave a quick demo on how to best use the additional storage, even measured the vehicle, so you're aware of the extra height. The extra storage was fantastic, and we comfortably transported everything we needed for our holiday. Once returned, Adrian took no time to remove the box and bars, and our deposit was refunded within the hour. If you're looking into buying / renting a roof box, then look no further. Very competitively priced, stress-free fitting and no need to store a box and bars yourself. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to friends or family. Would definitely recommend. We hired a medium sized roofbox which was more than big enough for us (family of 4) Adrian was really helpful and fitting/removal was quick and straight forward. Security deposit was refunded quickly. Would use again. Thanks
