Snowflakes Day Nursery and Montessori

Excellent Nursery. Great Staff and facilities. My kids have really developed and I have seen a notable difference. Would highly recommend to anyone without hesitation.

My son has been at Snowflakes for a year now and we have seen his personality come out and the way all staff embrace it and support our son to be himself is amazing. All the staff know what the kids like and dislike and are really person centered, this is one of the aspects we like about snowflakes. Our sons transition from baby room to toddler room was very smooth we didn't even realise how quickly and efficiently it happened and it happened at his pace and no force or push came from anyone. The staff is very friendly always at hand to support us and help us to continue any new learnings at home, recently starting potty training. When we feel worried on the days our son seems upset, no matter how many times we call to check up on him we are always greeted with a lovely voice usually Ms Kaneez and always get useful feedback which as parents is much needed reassurance when we need it the most. We are extremely grateful to all staff and teachers, if we name them all it'll probably take all day. We cannot recommend the nursery enough. The app the nursery uses is extremely useful and we check it daily to see what our son has been upto and love seeing and sharing the videos and pictures which evidences all the progress he has made.

1. Terrible - staff leaving every 2-3 weeks, I asked several times why and every time they gave me a different excuse my daughter was very confused and asked why her teacher left, then a new teacher started and left after 3 weeks and then a new one left after 1 month!!! Mr Sathushen (the owner) always gives different reasons but then I asked directly to staff and they told me they they often do not get paid, get bullied at work.... let's imagine what kind of place is that for a child if the people working there not lasting even a few weeks.. Just ask them how many staff have left in the last 3 months 2. they say the ration is 1 teacher for 4 children... never, ever the case, they are always short and the ratio is more 1-8 if you ask you will never get a straight answer I am just sorry my daughter had to stay there for 6 months before I realized what a mess the nursery was

My 4 year old daughter has just left this nursery to start school after being at nursery since she was 13months. My youngest (9months) has now joined and the settling in period was made so easy by all the staff. My eldest absolutely loved being at nursery and I've never had any issues with the staff or leaving her in their care and I feel the same for my youngest. Communication is so easy and the staff are very warm and welcoming. My eldest daughter has learnt so much here and even though we have moved further away from the nursery we wanted our youngest to have the same nurturing and supportive environment as her sister did.

I have been looking for a nice nursery for my 3 year old son close to my workplace and I came across Snowflakes nursery at Norwood Green. From day one I loved it there and first impression of the staff was wonderful. They are very warm, helpful and dedicated. Definitely right people for this job. My son absolutely love his nursery especially his carers Miss Kaneez, Miss Milica. After only a month at the nursery his speech improved massively and he became more independent and curious. Snowflakes nursery is rather small facility but in my eyes it is an advantage. Atmosphere is family like and because of that I would recommend this place to any parents that are anxious to send theirs kids to nursery for the first time (like I was) and also to other parents who have this experience already. I couldn't be more happy with my choice.
