I advise customers to be very careful when buying Jewellery from this branch (25 King Street, Southall, UB1 1RB), and Branch (106 South Road, Southall, UN1 1RB). This Jewellery shop is not only overcharging customer and undervaluing customers old gold to make a profit income, they are also selling gold without any compulsory Hallmarking's. You will also notice they will not provide legal sale receipt for the gold sold just a had written invoice which does not guarantee the gold and they do not offer refunds. Once they have your money, they will give you their word as a guarantee and they will manipulate the situation by saying to you not to believe anyone if they say this gold is fake. They will go as far as swearing on their own flesh and blood for you to believe their word of and 110% guarantee. Once they take away your old gold, they will melt this down immediately to obtained a profit leaving the customer with a loss in their pocket either way. Some high-quality gold was brought from both branches and were inspected by the Goldsmith's Company Assay Office who confirmed illegally selling gold without required Hallmarking. As per UK Hallmarking Act 1973 it is illegal to sell gold without at least 3 compulsory markings which can only be applied by assay office. The owner Mr Chauhan was challenged and when the evidence was presented the true colour of anger appeared. Reason for this they did not like the fact they have been caught red handed. This matter will now be investigated by Trading Standards.
