Compared to the other host of poor recruitment attempts i received, SoCode were not the worst but the method of approach was pretty poor and genuinely irritating. I had made it very clear in my cover letter and CV that I was going for a position with 1-2 years experience - Bradleigh kindly pasted a generic email with 10 positions all looking for Midlevel-Senior roles. Clearly he didn't bother reading my CV (though most recruiters don't) and just wanted me to match myself up, have a bloody good go and for him to get the commission. Few weeks into my new job, (all positions I had gotten were sourced by other recruiters, who paid much more attention to candidate) Bradleigh calls up our switchboard (getting them to redirect to me) telling me that he's never been able to recruit for the multinational I work for. He then asks for our internal recruiter's contact details. 7 months down the line, I get another random copy pasted email from SoCode discussing C++ positions (clearly sent an entire 'canned' email based on the one mention of C++ on my CV). After politely declining and asking where my CV was still circulating, he doesn't even bother to reply? Only two firms in this recruiting round were lazy enough to send job offers to people they knew were employed. Really says something about the company -especially if they're 5* reviewing themselves!

Scott Mundie took care of my application and it was an absolute pleasure to work with him. I now have a job that is thrilling and challenging and Scott was incredibly professional and pleasant throughout. I could not recommend him more!
