I contacted the Norwich Clinical Psychology Practice concerning an anxiety disorder from which I had suffered for nearly a year following a period of acute illness. My consultations with Dr Steverson were very helpful, firstly in exploring, understanding and clearly defining the problem, and secondly in helping me develop strategies for managing and mitigating the symptoms. My state of mind and quality of life have improved significantly and I am optimistic that I now have the means to sustain the improvement. I am very grateful for Dr Steverson's expert and compassionate care and guidance.

Tom is a very good listener, which is exactly what you would want in a psychologist. He is always positive and an overall nice guy, I found him to be really great to have sessions with. Tom uses acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) primarily, which essentially gives you the mindfulness based tools to better deal with situations such as you find them. This was very useful as it gave me the foundation I needed to eventually 'let go' of the issues I was once facing. The issues did not disappear, but they no longer bother me, and that is exactly what ACT aims to achieve.
