Most irresponsible and rude female assistant releasing my parcel sent from overseas to wrong person and wrong address, despite the person collecting the parcel showed ID not matching those of the addressee on my parcel, nor those on the postal slip left through the person's door. Luckily the person collecting the parcel lives close to me and kept the parcel safe for me. According to this neighbour, when she realised the parcel was not for her at the post office, she tried to refuse it by pointing out the name of the addressee was different from hers. Unbelievably though she was forced by this female assistant to take the parcel: "you have to take it because it is your legal responsibility". Of course when I went to this post office trying to track the parcel down 3 weeks later, the female assistant completely left the above conversation out, only mentioning the person collecting it "happily took it" as the ID shown to her matched the address label. When i questioned how could they release a parcel without the names matching, her excuse was it could have been different people live in the same household. She conveniently left out doubts and hesitation of my neighbour and caused hugh (3 weeks) delay in my parcel being finally tracked downed. The sender paid 200 for the parcel as it was premier service, ended up receiving it 5 weeks after it being sent! Clearly this member of staff is too unprofessional, rude and arrogant to care about her customer. How sad she is representing the Post Office brand serving the university community!

The guy behind the counter is the most indifferent and hepless person I ever meet. The royal mail label on my letter sticked out a little bit. That guy asked me to take my letter home and glue it or tape it before bringing it back. I live far away and took a taxi to the post office. Not wanting to coming back and forth again, I asked him if he could borrow his glue or tape to me. He refused, and repeated that I should bring it home. I really don't understand why a staff would refuse to offer such tiny help to his customer. Even if he doesn't want to share his glue and tape, he could suggest other solutions, such as telling me to buy a glue within the grocery store, rather than sending me away. In the end, I figured out by myself I could buy a glue within the store and manage to mail my letter. That staff, as a human being, showed the least care to another human being. He is a terrible terrible person.

Most of the time it's alright. However beware of the blonde lady. Not allowing me to send a parcel because it exceeds the declared weight by 2 grams, telling me "I've told all of you so many times that this is not allowed", is a bit overexcessive, don't you think? Don't treat a person like a thief, generalising by using plural. It's unprofessional.
