Dreadful experience, they need to learn how to cut the bread correctly, my went in looking like my beautiful cavapoo and came out looking like a schnauzer (nothing wrong with that bread they are lovely) but not my dog and they hacked her bald patches everywhere

I recently learnt that my dog has been muzzled and no one at the Groom Room ever told me about it. I have always been happy with the Groom Room (having been a regular customer for 2 years) but on my last visit the groom was not up to standard so I let them know I was disappointed. In their response, they said that my dog always had to be muzzled and was notorious difficult to groom. I was shocked. I have never been told about muzzling and always been told my dog has been really well-behaved. I understand the need for muzzling but it is unacceptable to not let an owner know. When I raised this concern with the Groom Room they told me that my next groom has had to be cancelled due to staff shortage (it isnt for another month and has been in the diary since the summer). I would no longer recommend using this service if you want an honest and approachable groomer.
