Barchester - Woodside House Care Home

My mother was a patient at this home for a brief period of time. The staff were absolutely fantastic and my mother could be quite difficult, but this was never problem for the staff at all. They were always doing there very best for her. The staff are the best ever and can not be faulted.

I have worked at Woodside House Care Home as an entertainer for more years than i can remember . I can truly say the management team and staff are so caring towards the residents credit to all .As an entertainer i love performing this home .The staff and all management i would rate 10/10 so lovely and deliver a first class service to all the residents no one person is neglected cant say anymore than thank you and keep the high standards going thank you regards BUDGIE (pro musician) 22 years as an entertainer i know a good home when i see one cant recommend this home enough x

My friend has been living at Woodside for almost 3 years and the care she has received has been wonderful. All the staff are amazing and totally dedicated to the care of the residents. Throughout these difficult times with the virus and lockdowns the staff have worked tirelessly to ensure the wellbeing of the residents. Mention must be made of Sam the activity manager and her team. With their help the residents enjoy numerous events and entertainment which is brilliant in keeping the morale of the residents high. The home itself is purpose built with luxurious interior design and has easy access throughout. The food is delicious and Kim and her team ensure all dietary needs are met.

My experience of Woodside House is that it is one special place! The activity staff go above and beyond helping to enrich the lives of the residents with such a variation of resources and entertainment and are very sensitive to individual needs. The housekeeping staff do a great job in keeping the home clean, tidy and welcoming to all.
