Oakwood House Care Home

My Mum Brenda has been receiving treatment at Oakwood House over the last four months. During her time there one particular person, Shakira has gone above and beyond in the care she provides to Mum. She has a positive can do attitude and nothing is too much trouble. I know if I ask Shakira to do something it will be done. She is friendly, bubbly and always very kind to me and my family when we visit and my Mum thinks the world of her.

I have almost 03 lovely years working for Oakwood House from the modest part-time position to the full time one. I can say it looks like my second family as I meet warm-hearted and caring colleagues who inspire me to go to office weekly. More important, I love and remember each wonderful resident I have had chances to meet and talk. Really appreciate any second to be there, with them.

My 97 year old mother was at another facility local to Oakwood. I wish she had never set foot in there. Oakwood have demonstrated to me what excellent care can and should be. She wants for nothing, all her needs are met by an excellent team including but not limited to Kelly Edwards, her keyworker, and Shirely Taylor, the Senior. There is a nice atmosphere in the home, where a contented work force well lead by Helen, promotes the well being of every resident. Do not hesitate, if you need care for a loved one to come to Oakwood house. Dr Glen Marshall.

I have been a resident at Oakwood House now for nearly four months. I have always been treated well and with the upmost respect by the excellent staff. The facilities are kept fastidiously clean. Food is superbly prepared in house . Maintenance, health and safety, and general good practices are continuously applied throughout. Well done !!!
