Stephanie Alexandra Bridal Makeup Artist and Hairstylist

Stephanie did my hair for my wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better hairstylist. I was unsure about having my hair done professionally as normally stylists struggle with my hair texture, however Stephanie made me feel completely comfortable from our first video call and from then I knew that I had made the right decision. Stephanie also did a number of my bridesmaids' hair and my Mum's hair and make up. My Mum was nervous getting her hair and makeup done and didn't quite know what she wanted, however Stephanie was able to give my Mum a look that filled her with confidence that she absolutely loved. We were all so happy and our looks lasted all day. Stephanie is the most lovely person, she even helped with drying our bouquets and showing us how to actually hold them! It was a lovely surprise to receive a gift of a dressing gown and champagne glass, just goes to show how Stephanie goes the extra mile to make her brides feel special. Stephanie was incredible on my wedding day and in the build up to it. She was always on hand to answer any questions I had about the styles I could go for and what might work best. I had originally thought I would like to have my hair down but on the day I decided to go for a low bun. Stephanie was amazing at listening to what I wanted and making it work beautifully. Stephanie also did an incredible job at not only making sure we all looked amazing but also making sure that everyone was ready on time which meant I had SUCH a relaxing morning before my wedding which set me up to have the best day. Stephanie and her team were a huge part of making my wedding day perfect! I felt very nervous about having my makeup done professionally as it's not something I usually wear a lot of. But from the first video call I felt confident that Stephanie was the right person for the job. Weddings are a minefield and it's important to have people around you who you trust and have the knowledge and experience to help, that person is Stephanie. She has a whole host of styles in her repertoire and after nailing what I asked for in my trial she even helped me sew a few feathers on my wedding cape! With 5 bridesmaids, mother of the bride and my little one, Stephanie gave us a schedule and kept things running smoothly. I felt relaxed and knew how I and my girls looked was something I did not have to worry about. With so many personalities in the room who all wanted different looks, Stephanie and her team were unfazed and made everyone feel and look amazing. Even with my MOB changing her style last minute. Stephanie recently did bridal hair and make up for me, as well as make up for my husband. Stephanie was wonderful and we would highly recommend her services! She is experienced and skilled and created exactly the look I wanted with ease. As well as hair and make up Stephanie was able to help with a few last minute styling issues with my dress and flowers, showing that her eye for detail spans many areas. In terms of my husband, after a recent diagnosis of rosacea combined with a stammer, he was extremely nervous about the ceremony. However, after 10 minutes with Stephanie she was able to do some airbrush make up to cover up the redness he was worried about and the change in his confidence was amazing. Stephanie was mindful of the products she uses and his anxieties about making his rosacea worse and immediately put us both at ease during our trials and on the day.
