If we could give zero stars for this review then we would. We were told up-front that our purchase could be taken on by Clapham & Collinge without issue after asking if they could deal with overseas gifted deposits. However, 7 weeks into the buying process with minimal contact from the solicitors, they informed us they could not continue as they "Could not meet regulatory requirements for the purchase". We repeatedly asked if they required any documents throughout these 7 weeks to accommodate for AML checks, but they never requested any documents. We are now with a new solicitors that have been moving at lightning pace without issue. To summarize: Clapham & Collinge made promises that they could not keep and kept us in the dark about their failure for 7 weeks which wasted our time and our house seller's time.

We can highly recommend the professional services that this organisation provide after using them in the recent sale of our charity holiday chalet. From start to finish they are well organised, prompt with replies, professional and very knowledgeable. We loved dealing with Erin and the team throughout the process of buying our first hom together. They genuinely made us feel like the most important people in the world, which says a lot considering how many clients they must have on their plate at one time. I haven't a single complaint or bad word to say; they were flawless from start to finish. Thank you guys!
