Cooks Industrial Doors

The company I work for has been chasing, chasing and chasing and they NEVER call back for a warranty issue which we have now had fixed by another company ! The fitter however is great and takes personal care but Cooks have proven over the years to absolutely dreadful. Hense we now wont deal with them.

As others have said these guys are experts in awful service - they simply dont care at all how much you need your gates fixed. Nothing will happen. Our company had 2 gates costing close to 17k from Cookes in June 2020. Its been terrible from the start from Matt promising lots but delivering nothing, to Mr Cooke visiting our site and offering apologetic words - but once he left the service returned to cataclysmically BAD levels. A problem in December 2022 left our main security gate with no control PCB for 2 months with no updates from Cookes at all. They even blamed the motor being faulty. We have now called in another company who fixed the problem in under 1 hr and said theres no issue with the motor at all! Cookes is their name - Crooks is their reputation!!!!!

I feel forced to write this! SHOCKING!!! We will no longer go anywhere near Cooks. Appalling service. 3 hours after fixing our gate we have waiting 8 weeks for a part for we are now told its not that part and low and behold the gate has failed again! Its two years old! Now using another company to fix it because these people are dreadful. Sorry for the review but you cant treat people like this in 2023! Basic service like updates, communication and not lying is always a good start! One person said its warranty then a day later its not, then it is again and now its not. UPDATED : We today have had Surelock Security out to look at our gate. They have fixed our gate in an hour. Cookes said its needed a new motor. Surelock showed me personally that the Cookes engineer, all so called engineer, didnt put the locking mechanism back properly and hadnt timed it right and now it worked perfectly! Its was never the motor at all. Total incompetence on Cookes behalf. Do yourself a massive favour..just use another company.

From start to finish I cant fault them. I ordered a 4.8M roller garage door and right from the very first contact I was kept well informed and the installation went very smoothly. One small problem that required a readjustment was completed very promptly. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending them.

Specialists in Poor service Managed to supply the doors but don't expect to get them fitted Very efficient at collecting the payment
