OYO Elm Farm Country House

Just had an absolutely amazing weekend for my sister's and brother in laws wedding. The staff are amazing , the venue is beautiful, the food delicious. Can't fault them on anything. I would recommend this for a wedding venue for any future brides and grooms to be. Huge shout out to Becky one of our lovely bar attendees, and to the waiting staff.

Away from the hussle and bussle. Reception under construction so was met at the bar, some very loud rowdy people in there. The greeting was 'hi, can you fill in the paperwork'. Then lead me to the door and told to follow. No conversation to me or my child. She open the door and grumbled, 'here is the key' and left. Not a word!! The evening was eventful! Room was stifling hot, uncomfortable. Very noisy neighbours who also didn't know how to use door handles so doors just slammed every few minutes. I ended up shouting in the hall at 10.30 for the noise to be kept down so my child could sleep. The water system is very loud and during the night we were visited by a slug/snail who covered all our belongings in a trail!! No food either at this hotel. Shame as the bed was comfortable and the views out of the window pretty.
