The guildhall is in the centre of Norwich City. Once was magistrate Court along with prison cells. There is also Norwich Market. Very popular with visitors.

An excellent tour by a knowlegable guide. A really significant building with a fascinating history in the heart of Norwich.

We visited Norwich Guildhall during the Heritage Open Days in Sept 2022 and we found the whole experience so interesting. John, our guide, was so knowledgeable and took his time for people in our group, to thoroughly understand the History. Showing us the dark Prisoner holding cells with the graffiti on the walls, really brings their gloomy existence in that time, to life. We came out of the Guildhall with so much information, of a building that Ive grown up seeing regularly most of my life and didnt know the full history of till John told us.
