Celia went above and beyond to help us. Gran wanted to be repatriated to Scotland and Celia was incredibly helpful in making the necessary arrangements as well as keeping us informed of progress, even during her annual leave. Whilst Gordon Barber were not handling the actual funeral themselves, Celia still recalled when it was and messaged to check in with us. She also spent a lot of time comforting my Mum. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in their time of need.

All I can say is celia is a credit to Gordon and barber, all staff are lovely but celia is a lovely member of staff going above and beyond at such a difficult time for our family Mums funeral was perfect and this is with many thanks to celia. Gordon Barber in Eaton provided an excellent service. From the first telephone call, the staff were sympathetic and supportive throughout the process of arranging my mother's funeral. We were not sure what we needed to do and Celia talked through everything so kindly - at such a difficult time, it was like suddenly having a friend holding your hand who could help with anything and everything. The numerous choices and decisions were clearly presented (with their costs), together with very helpful guidance from experience and what most people like to do, but also completely respecting our preferences. Indeed, it felt like nothing was too much trouble. The phone was always answered promptly and there was never any rush to discuss what was needed or answer my questions. The respect and care shown by the staff on the day of the funeral was really touching. I don't often write reviews but hopes this helps others the find the support they need.
