Nicholas E Potts and Daughter Independent Family Funeral Services

Nick, Carole, Natalie and their staff took such good care of us all following our recent bereavement. Their kindness and professionalism was a great comfort to the whole family and the service conducted by Nick - at GreenAcres Colney - was a fitting tribute to my Dad. Nothing was too much trouble. I don't have experience of any other funeral directors in the area and I'm sure they're all caring people, but what I can say is that others would struggle to be any better - in quality or value for money. We would thoroughly recommend Nick and his family. You won't be disappointed.

Its taken me a while to get round to this review, so apologies Nick. The funeral was handled so well. My Mum got the send off she wanted and deserved and Nicks handling of it all made it so much easier. Nick also has a gentle sense of humour which really helps at such a serious time. Also, although it shouldnt be an issue, the cost was very reasonable. Thanks Nick and all at the company.

My fathers passing was made a lot easier with the exceptional service I received from Nick and his daughter. Nothing was too much trouble. Nick ensured that the service was unique to dad and our family, by passing full ownership of its minute details to us and ensuring they were fulfilled impeccably leading up to, and on the day. Considering the solemn nature of his business, Nick has a great skill in using humour (at the right time) and storytelling to help calm nerves and to brighten the room throughout the experience. Can't speak highly enough of nick and the team at potts knew exactly how to talk to a grieving family and when to add some humour! Unfortunately can only give 5 stars gave my dad the perfect semd off thanks so much

From our first telephone conversation, Nick treated us with compassion, kindness and when appropriate humour, following the passing of our son. He was a great comfort to us and guidance and support in the arrangement of the funeral which was faultless. Nick also took the service which was perfect, and couldnt have been better, and many people commented how it was spot on. Thank you so much Nick.
