Woodcock Road Surgery

Reception is exceptional, very helpful and friendly. I have been seen very quickly at this doctors surgery and received the correct treatments without having to wait until I am really unwell like previous doctors surgeries I have been with in the past. Very happy to be with woodcock road surgery now.

After over 60 phone calls since 8am sharp still no appointment for my sick 83 year old father poor service no call waiting system never had such bad service this practice needs a reality check

Because I was worried that a letter for a hospital appointment might have gone astray, I sent an email to the surgery. They replied the very next day, to tell me that they don't actually have info for my hospital appointments, but gave me the hospital phone number and my hospital number. I was then able to contact the hospital directly and find the information I needed. (I'm still waiting for an appointment!) but a big thankyou to the reception staff who were very quickly able to put my mind at rest.

Following a blood test I called for results and was informed they were all normal. 2 years later I returned as I was getting worse to be informed my blood test from 2 years earlier was not normal and I had gone w years without treatment. Most recently saw a doctor with no compassion or idea what they were doing. After 10 minutes of reading my notes, they proceeded to ask questions that would have been answered through reading my notes. They then asked what I would like them to do and that I had to understand they were a GP and couldn't diagnose me and if I wanted help I should go to a and e. I was left with the opinion she was hoping I'd die quietly so she wouldn't have to deal with patients anymore
