Average Waiting time for phones to be answered is 30 mins , when they are answered the receptionists are rude with no empathy and on one occasion staff didn't realise i was connected and I could hear derogatory conversations between staff regarding patients including their names and their conditions ! shockingly unprofessional !

I have never in all of my life had so many problems trying to just get a call back from a doctor .They tell me I have to phone at 8am in morning to do this .After spending 45 mins trying to get though I had no choice but to leave as I had to be at work. I got though to them at 3.30pm just to be told the same again (phone in morning) now this is not the only time this has happened its every time. In my opinion this has to be 1 of the worse doctors in all of norwich

I'm sorry to have to post this. I've been with the surgery for over 20 years and have never known it to be so bad. Must be the worst for answering the phone or for booking appointments (can't book with my GP for a month & then wouldn't know if I could get an appt when more are released). I know surgeries are really busy and I understand that but I've had a lot of dealings with 2 other surgeries recently and their management and service to patients is far better (namely Hellesdon & the Castle Partnership - both very busy practices). If the catchment area is now so big & with new builds at Drayton they clearly can't cope with the number of new patients putting pressure on an already stretched service. As such the Trust should urgently look into building a new surgery so that patients are not left having to go to the walk in centre. Maybe this will happen when the building at St Faiths is done. This is a true reflection on how bad a state the NHS is in. Feel sorry for the reception team who are doing their best in a difficult situation.
