I have just moved from a near by area to this practice catchment area and was really surprised by the difference in quality. The reception staff are happy deal with you in a polite and efficient manner. The waiting room is up to date ( the magazines are not 10 years old with the corners chewed off ) and there is a self check in if reception is busy. Unlike similar nearby practices you are not bombarded with out of date posters warning you to get the flu jab before its to late or practice safe sex ( not that I am condoning unsafe sex). The wait to see my chosen GP was less than the digitally advised clock of 16 minutes per patient. Without mentioning which GP I saw it made a nice chance to go in and have relaxing music playing in the background. I wasnt ill I was only registering for repeat scripts but if I had been ill/nervous or anxious the music would have put me at ease straight away. I was with my chosen GP for around 15 minutes but within that time I was allowed to speak and also put my view across ( unlike the practice I had come from ) . Even though people dont like being ill and its the last thing people generally think of this is a practice I would recommend. You are treat as a human and not a number, your privacy is always respected and most of all as a person you are respected which in todays society counts for everything.

Clerical a bit chaotic. Medical less so. After being tol they could not prescribe as they thought I was not ill, I was then ill for 2 weeks but recovered by self medication.
