        I've just phoned for an emergency appointment as I've been with this surgery for 10 years now. Last year I had a stroke and was in hospital for a long time. I am only just getting my mobility and speech back. Apparently I missed 2 appointments last year, of which I do not remember. Again, memory loss from the stroke. No empehty whatsoever, quite rude and no understanding whatsoever of my position. They wouldn't even offer me an emergency appointment

        With this practice for 20+ years, several ownership changes, increasingly poor experiences. Suddenly the second dentist has become more congenial and encouraging, apparently beginning to understand that I am cooperating and doing my best despite genetic problems. Change of dentist currently on hold.
