Norwich Spiritualist Church

This used to be a place I loved with my whole heart, It was once the sole beneficiary of my will. It is so incredibly sad and heartbreaking how much this church has fallen. It was one of the hardest decisions of my life withdrawing my membership of this church.

Full of the ego. Dubious messages. Full of nodding dogs. I should have read the stars in the paper. I was told my house was full of antiques....very hard to fit in a council flat.

For all the talk about being welcoming and kindness to others, that wasn't my experience. We were welcomed on the door but not given any guidance on what to expect. There was no explanation that there was to be a period of quiet reflection during the collection so the leader publicly shamed us for talking which was embarrassing to say the least. We won't be returning.

My experience was not warm and welcoming at all! As somebody who's first visit I wasn't welcomed or given any guidance on what was expected and publicly shamed when I didn't know when a silent time was expected. Will never go again that's for sure
