Ginger Lily Catering

The food was really outstanding, we honestly couldnt have asked for better. Not only that, the service, professionalism, friendliness and general manner of both Sam and his colleague was noticed by everyone. I honestly cant thank you both enough, your evening made our weekend. I will definitely be recommending you to anyone I know visiting the Norwich area and should we visit again, we will definitely be in touch!

I would highly recommend Ginger Lily. Sam was really helpful when I needed catering for 10 people for an evening at home - he was flexible about options, and delivered the food exactly when agreed. Instructions for reheating were spot on and the food was excellent - we couldnt believe how much there was! We had enough left over to have another meal of it the following day! I will definitely be using GingerLily again

Sam at very short notice despite difficult personal circumstances provided a fantastic service on the day of our wedding. Very impressed, happy guests and would not hesitate to use again. Communication was at times relatively slow however Sam was always very pleasant and genuine to deal with. He tailored the package to us and our needs. His two staff members including Kim at front of house were efficient and polite on the day.

We used Ginger Lily Catering for our wedding in early June 2022. The food was delicious and we thought very reasonably priced, and there was absolutely loads of it so no one was left hungry! We had 6 canapes, then a table sharing BBQ with 6 mains and 6 side options, then pizza and paella in the evening which all went down a treat. Our one constructive criticism for Sam is that he had pretty slow communication and we had to ring him a couple of times when he hadn't replied to emails. We also heard nothing from him after the day despite us sending another email with a question about what happened to the leftovers, but they nailed the day itself which is the most important part so I would still happily recommend them to others.

Would NOT recommend Gingerlily catering for weddings. Sam initially gave us a very good tasting service only to not deliver on the day! We will never get that day back and he truly let us down after spending thousands on food. Sams contact with us was very poor throughout. Did not turn up to a meeting at venue! We picked our food and some of this wasnt even what we ordered! 3 of our guests didnt even get fed! And told sorry there is nothing left for you! Vegan and vegetarian options were wrong and clearly not enough. Sam didnt even come to the wedding, sending staff we had never met and not email to advise who they even were. They knocked a post out of the ground at venue! And what shocked me the most was that Sam ignored my emails after the wedding not even bothering to check up on the event and manage our feedback! He could not have cared less after getting all our money! Shocking business.l and a classic example of someone putting all their fingers in the pies and quality goes out the window! Jack of all trades but master of none.. you should be ashamed.
