M&S Simply Food

I ordered a food delivery from here via Ubereats, unfortunately a hot food item was not delivered. Neither Ubereats nor the driver were helpful with this so I called direct. The assistant manager Becky immediately went above and beyond to rectify my loss and offered to deliver it herself in her car. I cant expect better customer service than this. Thank you Becky, you are a credit to the business.

Past 2 years staff have consistently shown a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Always taking an interest in how we are when we enter the store. Genuine lovely bunch of people, the best coffee and bacon roll! Thanks for all being so generous in the way you serve your customers.

I ordeeed on Deliveroo and when it arrived, most of the main items I'd ordered were (everything else was just filler). I called the shop and was told they'd refund the money but I needed to reorder if I wanted the items, meaning another delivery fee.

Appalling customer service, in particular by female manager. Purchased a 30 voucher only to be told it hadnt gone through and would be refunded. Immediately checked bank acct to see that money had indeed been debited. When pointed this out, manager was very rude & abrupt.. and we were made to feel as if we had somehow done something wrong. Said they would have to take 'the loss'.. despite us showing the bank debit. M&S used to pride itself on customer service, sadly no longer.
