Shepherds Huts Ham Hill

We have recently acquired a rescue cocker spaniel and this was our first trip away from home. For us, it was excellent in all aspects. Teddy looked like he had been there all the time - he settled in very well. From the moment Georgie greeted us we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and being so close to a good and varied walking area up Ham Hill. When we return to the area we will have no hesitation with staying here again. Thank you, Dean and Georgie.

Our family stayed for 2 nights over the Easter weekend. Really clear directions were provided prior to our stay, we were welcomed warmly upon arrival, and checkin was quick and easy. The hut was very clean, well equipped & warm. Perhaps would also benefit from having a Microwave. It is located in a beautiful rural setting and has a spacious bbq area. First night we relaxed under the stars, it was very peaceful, just with the crackling sounds of wood from the fire-pit. Some of our family joined us for a bbq on the 2nd day of our stay - we were blessed with lovely weather, and it was the perfect nature setting. Just across the road is a lovely woodland, ideal for hiking. The village nearby is stunning. On our last day we headed to the coast to Durdle Door - about a one hour drive away. Dean and Georgie were super helpful during our stay. Would definitely go back, and recommend to others.

Every part of this place is magical! From the initial phone call, to the location, hut and the hosts I cant fault anything!! Me and my daughter had the best stay ever and will be returning!!! Great stay, great price, great hosts and a great pick for anyone needing some time away!!! Highly reccomend!!! Many thanks Dean and Georgie!
