What a fantastic service I received. Id bought a long pair of hunting boots that were too small on the calf. Within 24hours the boots had been altered and posted to me. A beautiful gusset of leather was added that was I keeping with the boots style. And the price was fantastic. We will definitely use these guys for any leather work in the future. Tom Hayward. Really useful place - the kind of shop you're lucky to find now! Have had various bits of tack altered or fixed here; service is always quick, very reasonably priced, and high quality work.

I would like to respond to the allegation that I ruined a perfectly good saddle with the following facts; The saddle came to me through a friend of the owner. I was asked if I could rebuild the seat which was gaping and wafer thin. I explained that it would cost ten times what the saddle was worth in its condition so it was not feasible. I was then asked could anything be done so the saddle could continue to be used and I suggested that it would not be an attractive repair but if I attached a piece of leather to the seat to prevent it rupturing any further it could be used with a seat saver. I was instructed that anything I could do so the saddle could still be used would be much appreciated. The saddle was collected and no comment was made regarding the repair and it was repeated that it was to be used with a seat saver. Much later I get a complaint demanding compensation and threats to take legal action. I reply with the above facts and get another threatening letter. Again I reply again I get threats. I leave it to anyone reading this to make their own judgement.
