Just been for a food and book club night - what a delight it was. Lovely company chatting about the book and then eating recipes from the book. It is a beautiful welcoming environment and I would recommend it to anyone. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food served up just as I imagined it from the book. Fried Green Tomatoes - just like at the Whistle Stop Cafe!

We had a fantastic day attending a cake decorating workshop with several members of our family. The tuition Was excellent, the environment convivial and cosy and the end result exceeded our most ambitious expectations. A wonderful way to spend a day, learn new skills and make something delicious. Our workshop included lunch which was of outstanding quality too. Were going to try another workshop in 2022, we all came away inspired.

Took part in the Fur full day cooking course led by Gilly and it was my favourite experience ever! I have never been on a cooking course before and am extremely inexperienced but the advice and support from Gilly throughout the day was amazing! and the food was out of this world, great quality meats and accompaniments provided during the course made the experience even better knowing how lovely it would taste despite my lack of experience! I would highly recommend taking part in this course or any of the courses provided by The Cooks Place as they are well thought out, extremely high quality ingredients provided and a cooking experience that is extremely enjoyable!
