Absolutly aweful working conditions. I worked there for 3 days, couldn't cope with the job what so ever. No Covid19 restrictions in place at all, not a whole lot of health and safety precautions and no training when working in a warehouse around forklifts. No wonder there are so many bad reviews about damaged hardware, the people in there just don't care about the quality, just the quantity of things they process and sell. I heard Amazon warehouse work was bad...

Bought a laptop from here reasonably priced but on inspection trackpad buttons were not working and the battery wouldn't charge beyond 5 %

Today I had a small upgrade on an plder laptop(refurb ssd and new install of win10) Cost was 51.00 The assistant called Josh was excellent. However when his colleague tried to charge for the service, the card reader wasn't working correctly. I suggested using payment off my Iphone. All went through straight away. After returning home, I checked my bank online. I had been charged twice. I have since returned to collect laptop and to sort out the refund. I was then told to show my bank details on my phone. He then said because its in pending, it will probably 'bounce' back in to my account. Payments always go into pending first. I asked to have my refund again and said if it does come back to me, I will call them and pay. They said NO. They want me to trust them, but dont show the same courtesy/trust back. I have used them many times over the years. Reluctant to use them in future. BE CAREFUL! Oh, and no face mask were being worn.

I'm a regular customer of PCBitz, must have purchased over 50 motherboards and various other parts over the past few years. They used to be really good but they have really gone downhill over the last 6 months. Basically every single order has at least 1 dead component in it. Some return requests have taken months of chasing up to be sorted. My recent order of 3 motherboards and 2 hard drives, 1 was dead, one had the wrong IO shield, and one of the two hard drives was dead. Ordered a laptop from them a few weeks ago which had a faulty trackpad - how was this not noticed when you reinstalled windows on it? I feel like I do more parts testing of their stuff than they do. None of this is postal damage either as all their packaging is really good... just seems they don't bother testing anything. Accepting returns then throwing stuff in the bin is probably actually cheaper in the long run... but it's definitely a sure fire way of putting off long term custom that's for sure. You guys have such good stock and I'd honestly be buying a lot more but it's not worth the time I spend dealing with returning half my orders.
