On one occasion, upon collecting some clothes after dry cleaning, the owner informed me they could not find one of my (expensive) shirts. He said he'd continue to look, took my number and told me he'd call me in about two weeks to update me. Two weeks! I didn't make a fuss, and said ok.
Two weeks passed and no call, so I went to the shop to chase up. The owner explained that they could not find it and that he would compensate me with some free service. I asked for 25 instead (a reasonable offer, considering the shirt had cost 100). He said he'd speak to his colleague and get back to me.
That was about 2 years ago. Still no response. Needless to say I haven't used these people since.
