regards to (dark time alter)he was very silly in class and he only respects himself and not others he also damaged school property so no wonder the school did not respect him in any way. the staff are always very helpful and polite especially the boarding wing they are the most helpful people you could ever encounter if you have a problem period. also no teachers or staff are racist or sophomoric he seems to believe this because he likes to put a lovely school down because of his own faults in person. i would like to ask everyone to please not listen to these people like Steven it a really lovely school Jack Foster

I am a Year 10 pupil who is still studying in laleham gap school currently and I give it a 3 / 5 Rating because the school does have some flaws, and there is always room for improvement, i have read some of the negative comments posted by others here and i can confirm that the school is NOT a prison, it is NOT a place that will put you in a phyco ward or any of that at all. i am not going to point a finger at any of those out because that is unfair. The School itself is great environment for studying for GSCES and for those in the lower years who do not have to worry just yet. The class sizes are perfect for those who struggle in mainstream schools. i myself came from a class size of 30 - 28 into this 9 pupil per class environment and noticed that help was given 10x faster then that of a mainstream. The Staff themselves are friendly and helpful, they are always prepared to help with a struggling Pupil wherever and however they can. the main teachers make the lessons as Fun as possible while still giving great education... Staff are also very professional and you can clearly tell that they know how to do their jobs. Lessons are of great variety and a sensible length of time is provided for each lesson. Unfortunately though like i said there are some flaws in the school which is to be expected as we have only just housed a new headteacher so things should improve quickly. but here are the honest problems that the school do have. i am now talking from my own experiences as a honest and truthful pupil. The way bullying is dealt with is something which laleham need to change slightly. After an few Incident with another pupil (No Names will be given because once again, its unfair and nonprofessional) my parents had to call the school and travel down to the school countless number of times to sort out a occurring issue. the issue lasted for 2 academic years but has since then been resolved. there have been other problems with other students aswell there but thats not for me to go into. There is also a lack of playing areas is also a minor issue aswell. i will give laleham its due, its slowly resolving that issue and you have to take the recent move into consideration aswell but it is a issue that is bothering many students. if you have a special needs child and you are looking for a special needs school then i would recommend considering Laleham gap and it is an honest shame that there are comments that drag the review rating of this school down... - Dewclaw Silvertail I will refrain from using my real name as i want to keep my identity to my self.
