Really bad A&E. Security guards are disgusting, from 8 am we waiting for emergency treatment now is 14:00 with diabetic patient 75 years old and they didnt let as in until she was fainted on the floor. Were to see patient is visiting uk and not speak English. Really disappointing they attitude, behaviour discussing

Just returned from Sainsbury Ward having spent 2 full days and one night there, the procedure itself was a great success and I have no issue with my consultant and his team. As for the Ward I have never seen such poor communication, ownership, leadership and lack of patient care. I do not propose to highlight every issue here but the major issues which I have to share with you are as follows. 1. I called for assistance using the call button and pushed this at least 10times over a 5 minute period before a nurse arrived. 2. This happened on 2 out of 3 occasions when I called for assistance. 3. After check in and completing paperwork I didnt see anyone for over 2 hours. Complete silence until someone came into the room asking for my mobile number. Again. 4. Kitchen staff - I appreciate may not be your responsibility but they were awful. From asking me to order from the main menu while laying on a trolley by the lift on my way to theatre. I was on a liquid only diet after my operation for several days. 5. The waiting times were very long whenever I wanted something done, there was almost a thats not my job attitude and I would wait again for the right person to arrive. 6. I made a verbal complaint and asked to see the senior person on the ward, this person arrived at my room as I was leaving and I made clear my dissatisfaction but wanted to just to get out of the hospital. I will be contacting you formally with my issues / concerns for a full investigation to be conducted. You must improve your patient care. I am paying a lot of money to go private and expect far better.
