I attended one of Ollie's 2 day french polishing courses, what can I say, best couple of days learning I've spent in years, his knowledge is second to none. The course is aimed at not only a complete beginner like myself, but the seasoned enthusiast. I came away with the knowledge and confidence to tackle a few more pieces in my own time, that have turned out brilliant. Highly recommended, great value for money, will likely return for more learning, he's a really patient by the way.

I was thrilled with the work that Ollie did on the mid-century G-Plan teak dining suite that I inherited from my parents. The table, sideboard and chairs had been used daily for well over 50 years, as was obvious from their tired appearance. Ollie completely transformed them, including reupholstering the chairs; the suite looks as good as new again. He is obviously very skilled and experienced, and his prices are reasonable too. Our two day French polishing course was excellent, as absolute beginners Ollie was very patient with us and we learnt so much in the time we had - and came away with two pieces of furniture looking immeasurably better than they did when we arrived! We wouldnt have thought it possible to achieve such good results in so little time. A fantastic experience!

I really enjoyed my 2 day course with Ollie and came away with a previously unloved piece of furniture I was proud of and appreciate every day! I gained a greater understanding and respect of the time, care and expertise needed to restore pieces of furniture and a MUCH better understanding of that process. For me the course was a great way to treat myself to something totally unique. I got to learn about something I have an interest in, apply myself wholly to it practically and learn from someone with a wealth of knowledge in the trade (and who is good company and has good taste in music :)) Thanks Ollie for your patience and accommodating the massive time gap between me putting my deposit down just before lock down, falling pregnant then waiting for my son to grow up a little before I could leave him for the course!
