I was recently left waiting 40 mins for an appt with my cat in his box .. I was given a time and checked in but preferred to stand outside as it was too noisy inside but I still hadn't gone in 40 mins later !!! Not usually the standard I'm used to here as they are normally spot on .

I would like to thank all the staff at Ark Vets in Northwich. They help look after my beautiful black lab and in his later years supported him through some ill health but always had his best interest at heart. From the vets themselves, the reception staff and vet nurseries, they are all so lovely, kind and caring. On my boys last day they accommodated him being put to sleep at home. 2 lovely vets came to our home so that he could drift off for his final sleep on his own bed. Thank you to all the staff and a special mention to Kerry who was so supportive and thoughtful throughout the entire process x

Dont bring degus here! They may be a good vets with most animals but the vet picked my degu up by the scruff of the neck, really hurting her, which you should never do! She was squeaking loads in pain. I spoke to them on the phone afterwards and they said they do this with all degus to start with until they know they wont get bitten. Ive been to several other vets with degus in the past and never had this before. Everyone on the facebook degu community agrees this is definitely not right! She was far more stressed than she should have been back at home, in a ball and panting for ages. She has two bald patches on her neck! The vet said its ok if you support her weight but he wasnt supporting it anyway! I wont be coming back here with my degu.
